Arina's Story Part II

(March 2001)

February 2001 signified my two-year wedding anniversary. I had now benin America since November 1998. I present this update on my marriage, business and life here in America. I thank you all for your interest. The most significant development in my life over the past year has been the ability to get over what can best be described as "my home sickness." I feel quite fortunate that I have been able to travel back to my native Togliatti, Russia on 5 occasions over the past 30 months since I first traveled to America (11/98) on my Fiancée Visa. Visiting my family & friends is always a pleasure, yet the stark contrasts between the Russian and American ways of life now result in great anticipation when I am returning from Russia to my home and full-life in suburban New Jersey.

My skills as a seamstress have increased considerably over the past year. Here I am testing a new slipcover I completed for this chair.
