Lana is a 2001 graduate of the Togliatti Branch of Samara Teacher's
Training University, faculty of history and philology.
"I like meeting new people, traveling, going out with my friends,
sports, dancing, different kinds of music and many more things. I am
absolutely fond of cinematography and literature. I am deeply interested
in religion, philosophy, classical and contemporary art. I think of
myself as of an open-minded, easy-going person, who is always ready
for something new."
Lana also studies the German and Italian languages, and joined the company
in September 2002.
"As my horoscope sign is Gemini, I have always
had a great number of different hobbies. At the age of 10 I decided
to be an outstanding ski runner. Although I succeeded in this field,
I quit my ski lessons and at the age of 12, I tried table tennis and
have been into it till now. At school I did well in mathematics, but
to the great surprise of my parents and to my own surprise I chose
stage/acting lessons to take in the last two years of the secondary
school. But while mastering the acting skills, I felt a real inclination
to the studying of foreign languages."
"At school I studied English and in addition to this I made up
my mind to master Italian. In 1999, I graduated from Samara State
Pedagogical University, the foreign languages faculty, as a teacher
of English and German. For a year I taught English at a secondary
school and have been a personal tutor of English for a year now. During
the period of 2000 – 2003, I was working as an office manager
at a recruiting agency. It was a priceless experience for me concerning
communication and organizing the proper office functions. In February
2004 I joined the “Volgagirl” staff."
"The ways of spending my spare time also vary greatly. I may
go to a night club with my friends to dance, may go to the movies
to watch a thriller, psychological drama or even a horror film, may
go for a walk along the riverside or to the forest and may just stay
at home and listen to my favorite music or read a book (also of different
types, of course)."
