Meet Our Staff

Olga Kudryashova

Translator & Interpreter

I was born in 1983 and grew up in Togliatti. Now I am a student of Samara Academy of Humanities. I study philology and foreign languages: English, German and I started learning Spanish recently. It is great if you know languages: you can speak to people of different nationalities and it makes you feel at home when you are in a foreign country.

I like being around people and meeting new friends. That is why I like traveling, visiting new places and countries. I participated in an exchange student program and went to the USA in summers 2002 and 2003. There I gained work skills, educational and cultural experiences, and lots of friends all over the world. I am an easy-going, energetic, flexible and hard-working person, that is why I am able to do lots of things at the same time: studying, working, communicating with my friends. I like riding a bike, skiing, hiking, outdoor cooking and fishing – all outdoor activities.

I like working in the 'Volgagirl' agency. It is a wonderful job: helping people meet, communicate and understand each other!

Yulia Kalianova

Teacher of English

All English lessons provided by A Volga Girl will better prepare your special lady to become a suitable Russian wife.

Yulia was born on December 28 1978 in Togliatti. After secondary school she entered the Pedagogical University of Togliatti in 1996. "I liked English and everything connected with communication since my childhood. That’s why I chose the Faculty of Foreign languages." Yulia's second language is German. Throughout her study at the University, she worked as a teacher of English, and at a summer camp for 4 years. "I enjoyed it very much as I liked outdoor activities, trying something new and organizing different interesting things for those involved. I had an opportunity to realize my constant wish to be both in the nature and among many interesting people. I actually found a great deal of good friends there." Upon her graduation in 2001, Yulia continued teaching English. "It is a very exciting process bringing people together via language. And of course, it’s very pleasant to see my students’ progress. I always do my best when teaching. Yulia joined the Volgagirl staff in February 2002.
